Arc in clouds [Image 2]


The sequence of images below cover less than 3 minutes. The Circumzenithal arc lasted no more than a minute or so but was very vivid. Imaged March 10, 2005 from Mt Airy, Maryland. The arc was by far the brightest I've ever seen. The camera's FOV is around 50 degrees!
